Anna Silk
Anna Silk is Canadian actress and has gained fame in Canada by her character of Bo. Silk is a Canadian actress born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. She is the daughter of Peter who is a professor, as well as Ilkay Silk, a prominent actress director producer playwright educator as well as Director of Drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of the first moments in her existence, such as attending rehearsals and watching of shows. Silk played in a variety of commercials for children. She earned a Bachelors in Arts in the field of theater at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced two of its first productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk relocated from Toronto in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met at an Actorsworkshop held at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. In December 2009 they married in a civil wedding ceremony. In April of 2011, they renewed their vows in a Jewish ceremony in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk had the son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th of May 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. She landed a principal role as Bo Dennis, a succubus, as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the season's third finale episode and broke the news to the fans during the Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for the fourth season and on the 20th of June 2013 Silk tweeted that she was ready to the set of the show. Silk's portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers who are identical on Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite TV Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top Television Couple of 2013. The same was done by E! Entertainment Television. Silk's success has led to an enormous online following through social media.
